Quidditch is a popular wizarding sport played on broomsticks. It is known to be the most popular and most well-known game among wizards and witches.
The object of the game is to score more points than your opponents. Each goal is worth ten points and catching the Golden Snitch is worth one-hundred and fifty points. The game ends when the Snitch is caught or an agreement is reached between the captains of both teams. On occasion games have been known to go on for many days if the Snitch was not caught (the record, according to Quidditch Through the Ages, was six months, although no one caught the Snitch.)
During a match, two teams play against one another. A Quidditch team consists of seven players: three Chasers, two Beaters, one Keeper, and one Seeker.
These teams compete yearly for the League Cup. The teams also compete for the Josef Wronski Award for Excellent Pitch Skills and individual players for the Dangerous Dai Llewellyn Commemorative Medal. Teams from the league also participate in the European Cup every three years.
British and Irish Quidditch League[]
The British and Irish Quidditch League was established in 1674 and due to the need to maintain anti-Muggle security, the professional League was formed of the thirteen best teams at the time, and all others were asked to disband. The league falls under the authority of the Department of Magical Games and Sports which is currently headed by Lark Rosewood. Each year scouts are sent by the Department to seek out players from among Hogwarts’ Quidditch teams that B&I teams might be interested in signing. Letters are then sent out at the end of the year.
Disclaimer[]
At this time, Professional Quidditch is a largely off screen career option though changes are constantly being made to create a more involved experience. Schedules are made and players are informed of this as well as their wins and losses, however this is handled off screen and used to determine team rankings. That said, we do still require a certain level of activity from Professional players.
Players wishing to join a professional team are encouraged to contact Pip Hawtrey at the Department of Magical Games and Sports with interest.

Appleby Arrows[]
Location: Appleby-in-Westmorland, Cumbria, England
Uniform: Pale blue emblazoned with a silver arrow.
Current Manager: Charlotte Cuttlehook
Most Recent Glorious Moment: Taking on the Holyhead Harpies at the 2028 Euro Cup and walking away victorious
They say the Appleby Arrows’ most glorious hour was their 1932 defeat of the then European Champions, the Vratsa Vultures. The match lasted sixteen days in dense fog and rain, and was one of /many/ times the team proved they’d do whatever it takes to win. The Arrows aren’t against bringing their wands onto the pitch and securing a win by any means necessary and they seek out players who feel the same way. Their methods on the pitch haven’t made them friends and most teams are loathe to face them on the pitch, though none so much as the Wimbourne Wasps. The Arrows look for players that are willing to play a little dirty and they don’t mind ignoring a few sparkings on a player’s record.
- RP Hooks: Rivalry with Wasps • Whatever it Takes • Wands on the pitch
- Scouting Strategy: Not Afraid to Play Dirty • Aggressive Players • A Few Sparks Never Hurt
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Justine McNee - Alleged to have cursed a few players in the back AND in the air, McNee isn’t one to play nice. She’s known to talk a lot of trash in the press but doesn’t back it up in person- at least not one on one.
Scotty Moore - Rumoured to be having a slow season so far, Moore isn’t a fan favourite this season. After a breakup with his ex, Fiona, he’s been notably bitter and has been playing very aggressively.
Jenson Barnett - Often cited for his adaptability, Barnett is known to have a massive ego- a fact that has gotten him in trouble more than once. He both flies and plays very loose and very dangerously, and he lives his life the same way.
Beaters:
Ewan MacLeod - Ewan grew up in the Welsh countryside, where he developed his strength and coordination through various outdoor activities. His natural talent for Quidditch was evident from a young age, and he quickly became known for his skillful play as a Beater. Ewan’s dedication to honing his craft has made him one of the most respected players in the league very early on. With a calm and composed demeanor, Ewan is highly focused and meticulous, always striving for perfection in his game. His skillful play and strategic mind make him a valuable asset to his team. Off the pitch, Ewan is kind-hearted and supportive, always willing to help his teammates improve, and is the first to mentor aspiring new talent.
Gareth Davies - Coming from the rugged highlands of Scotland, it is no wonder where he developed his strength and resilience. Growing up in a family of fierce competitors, Gareth was drawn to the role of Beater, where he could channel his assertiveness and physical prowess. His dedication to rigorous training has made him a standout player. With a swing to rival most seasoned Beaters, Gareth is known for his assertive and fearless nature. He is a natural leader on the pitch, often taking charge and motivating his teammates. His aggressive playstyle and determination make him a rather daunting opponent. Off the pitch, Gareth is loyal and protective of his friends, always ready to stand up for them.
Keeper:
Hardy Barnes - Barnes has a reputation for expressing his emotions inappropriately which has led to many interesting Witch Weekly articles. He is said to have a jealous streak which leaves few eager to play with him and has him constantly bashing heads with not only his teammates but opposing teams as well. Eventually it was decided that it was best to keep him in the position of Keeper, where he would be as far from the opposing Keeper as possible, not that this helped much in a 2024 match where he attempted to charge all the way across the pitch when the opposing Keeper made a flawless save using a technique that he hadn’t mastered yet.
Seeker:
Everett Butcher - Butcher prefers his games fast and brutal, said to want his opponents put down quickly. He’s known to be a leader on the pitch (but don’t repeat that in front of Turlough) and rumours say he’s in line for a captainship next season.
Caerphilly Catapults[]
Location: Caerphilly, Wales
Uniform: Alternating light green and scarlet vertical stripes
Current Manager: Charlie Mossinger
As one of the older teams in the league, the Caerphilly Catapults have a pretty rich history of wins. Eighteen League wins and a Euro Cup to their name, the Welsh team is not one to be taken lightly. More traditional than many of the others in the league, the Caerphilly Catapults never play dirty and you’d be hard pressed to find a team with less sparkings. That said, the Catapults are no strangers to taking risks, like their late star player Dangerous Dai Llewellyn. You won’t find a team with a more impressive track record than the Caerphilly Catapults and if you’re looking for a place to make a name for yourself, this is the one.
- RP Hooks: Old Blood • Traditional • Straight-Laced • Risk Takers
- Scouting Strategy: Promising Up-and-Comers • International Players • Clean Record
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Gabriella Dudley - Caerphilly’s history rests firmly on the shoulders of Captain Gabriella Dudley, often considered to have been born to lead this team. Dudley believes strongly that rivalries should remain on the pitch and not bleed outside of matches, though this hatred for conflict has seen her often locking horns with the likes of Pride and Holyhead.
Cypress Chalamet - French-born but English-raised Chaser Cypress 'Divebomb' Chalamet practiced quidditch most of his early years, but came late to the starting lineup of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team in his fifth year, followed by a position as Captain the following year after his dedication to the sport was recognized. Offered a contract at 17, Chalamet spent his final year at Hogwarts signed for the Caerphilly Catapults as a reserve, practicing once monthly with the team, until joining as a starter following graduation. Despite losing a hand in his final year in school, his prosthetic has not slowed the chaser down, nor dampened his obsession with the sport.
Kasandra Bélanger - Known for her charming smile as much as her skills on the pitch Kasandra Bélanger took a transfer from the Canadian league. Known as an extensive traveler she’s often quoted as wanting to ‘See the world from a broom’.
Beaters:
Radek Mercer - With a quick mind and eyes like a hawk, this beater is one of the Catapults’ mainstays having taken on the position after a few seasons as a seeker.
Jayme Pearce - Already seeing improvement, this rookie had a rough start at the top of the season but seems to be finding a way to mesh his playful attitude into a tight and forceful style.
Keeper:
Mieke Königsmann - Known to have a high profile American Boyfriend, the recent political climate has dimmed her cheerful attitude, somewhat. She’s known to paint in her off time.
Seeker:
Toutorix Tracy - Another player in their rookie year, Tracy is known to be the frequent victim of frequent silencing charms. While warm and supportive of his team, this Seeker is currently driving them crazy with endless questions on how he can improve.
Holyhead Harpies[]
Location: Holyhead, Wales
Uniform: Dark green with a gold talon emblazoned on the chest
Current Manager: Gemma Roselet
As the only all-witch team currently playing in the British and Irish Quidditch league, the Holyhead Harpies know what it’s like to play in a Wizards’ world… and how to dominate it. The second oldest team in the league, the Harpies are defined by more than just their single gender roster- rather it’s their aggressive reputation, their elite gameplay, and their team bonds. With a long history of brawling both on and off the pitch and a zero tolerance for team transfers, the Harpies have had no shortage of free publicity filled with death threats, curses, and arrests. But that hasn’t kept them from becoming a fan favourite, especially as fans have watched them dominate the top four in recent seasons. For women looking to prove themselves on the pitch, the Harpies is the team to sign to.
- RP Hooks: Girls’ Club • Top of the Charts • Fan Favourite • On Pitch Brawlers
- Scouting Strategy: All Female • Fierce Loyalty • Tough Girls Only
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Siobhan O'Connor - O’Connor hails from a family with a rich history in Quidditch. Growing up in Ireland, she was inspired by the legendary Irish National Quidditch team and began playing at a young age. Her natural talent and dedication to the sport have made her one of the top Chasers in the league. Known most for her precision passing, Siobhan is also very intelligent and has a strategic mind, but she is also not afraid of getting her hands dirty in a brawl. She is a quick thinker and excels at devising plays on the fly. Off the pitch, Siobhan is friendly and enjoys mentoring younger players.
Fiona Campbell - Fiona, an underdog brought in by the Harpies, is known for her competitive and determined nature. She thrives on the thrill of the chase and is always looking to outpace her opponents. Her quick thinking and her sometimes arrogant attitude make her a formidable Chaser. Campbell comes from the highlands of Scotland, where she grew up racing her siblings on broomsticks, easily leaving them in her dust. Her natural speed and agility quickly set her apart, and she became known as one of the fastest Chasers in the last decade.
Jolene Parris - Pretty with auburn hair, Jolene Parris is often spoken poorly of by other women in the League- At least women outside of the Harpies. New to the Harpies’ starting roster, having replaced one of their number stolen by the Parisian Hellhounds, she has a reputation for being a homewrecking… well.. Harpy, just because she can, leading to a slew of fights with other women. On the pitch, she’s noted to be an exceptional player which is said to make up for her extracurricular activities.
Beaters:
Niamh Kelly - With roots in a small village in Southern Ireland, Niamh Kelly is a fresh face in the Professional Quidditch world. Despite being new to the sport, Niamh has shown remarkable promise and raw talent. Her coaches and teammates believe she has immense untapped potential, and with the right guidance, she could become one of the top Beaters in the league. Her positive attitude and determination make her a joy to work with. Off of the pitch, Niamh is friendly and approachable, always eager to make new friends and learn from her more experienced teammates.
Isla MacDonald - MacDonald grew up on the mystical Isle of Skye in Scotland, where she was oftentimes surrounded by ancient legends and magical lore. The truth in which she was never quite sure of. From a young age, Isla showed exceptional talent as a Beater, quickly becoming one of the most skilled players in her house. However, her promising career has been shadowed by an unknown curse that she carries, adding an element of mystery to her story. This player, now out of her rookie season, is known for her determination and resilience. Despite the challenges posed by her curse, she remains focused and driven, never allowing herself to falter. Her calm and composed demeanor on the pitch contrasts heavily with the mysterious aura that surrounds her.
Keeper:
Biddy Ó Ceithearnaigh - Often seen as a dictionary of quidditch strategies and rightly called somewhat ‘spacey’ this former Ravenclaw is always focused when she’s protecting her rings. Off the pitch, she’s as prone to brawling as the other girls on the team, but she’s much calmer in the midst of a match.
Seeker:
Kayla Murphy - It is never easy to fill the shoes of a Seeker, it is even harder when that Seeker was also the Team Captain, but if anyone is up for that challenge, it’s Kayla ‘Hawkeye’ Morgan! Twin sister to devilish Beater Rhy Morgan, she is not quite as blunt or forward with her tactics, she is much more secretive and calculating, something that has made her an ace captain for such a dominating team. As a captain she is exceptionally supportive and encouraging, but on the pitch she is a force to be reckoned with, and with such a precious record on the line for the Harpies, there is no one better to step in and fill the rather heavy captain’s shoes.
Pride of Portree[]
Location: Portree, Isle of Skye
Uniform: Purple with a gold star on the chest
Current Manager: Francis 'Franco' Carlisle
Formed in 1292, the small town team commonly referred to as the “Prides” have fought tooth and nail to maintain their Top Four place on the League charts. Constantly at odds with the likes of the Falmouth Falcons, the Appleby Arrows, and the Holyhead Harpies, the Prides are always looking to secure a transfer or to bag a rising star before the others can seal the deal. Despite their reputation for heated brawls and duels breaking out on the pitch, Pride of Portree maintains a positive reputation with Quidditch fans, whether they support the team or not.
- RP Hooks: Top of the Charts • On Pitch Brawlers
- Scouting Strategy: Rising Stars • Foreign Talent • Transfers From the Top
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Valentine Weekes - Favouring a fast pace, this Portree veteran is often ahead of the pack and never seems to lose his energy in a match. It has been said many times over that Weekes is the backbone of the Prides' Chasers, though critics will just as often call him a Quaffle hog. Regardless, anytime the quaffle is in his possession Pride fans are out of their mind with joy and excitement as they watch the team captain at work. Even though the scoreboard at the end of the matches may not always be in their favour, the Prides owe more than half of their points earned to Weekes more often than not. He is an idol to many young Chasers who are trying to make their way into a professional setting within the world of Quidditch.
Charlotte Harris - Known for her kind and gentle nature, Charlotte’s sweet demeanor often leads opponents to underestimate her. However, beneath her friendly exterior lies a fierce competitor with a relentless drive to win. Her dual nature makes her a unique and formidable Chaser, unpredictable and able to outmaneuver just about anyone. She is intensely focused and determined, channeling her inner drive to help carry her team and dominate the game with surprising ease.
Akilina Picasso - Like her namesake, Akilina Picasso is an absolute artist on the pitch. While highly rebellious and often a one-person show, Picasso demonstrates that players at this level can still enjoy themselves while remaining alert and on top form. Even though one of her fellow teammates may scoop up the most points earned by scoring with the Quaffle through mere speed alone, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Picasso is responsible for the most assisted points earned across the team’s history. Weekes and Picasso make a nearly flawless duo - off the pitch too, apparently! She has some of the fanciest flying many of their fans, and fans across the league, have ever seen. Once she escapes opposing Chasers and Beaters with ease, the passed Quaffle to Weekes is a for-sure extra 10 points to their team. Picasso has easily become known for her ability to enjoy using her unique flying to trip up opposing Chasers, they never really know which direction she will come from, making them somewhat disorientated by the time Reid swoops in for a steal.
Beaters:
Kyo Fujiwara - Fujiwara is the placid one on the team. Exceptionally courteous to fans and even opposing teams, nothing seems to bother this beater. He is a highly faithful sort and many are surprised by just how little Fujiwara fits into the usual brawl-on-the-pitch stereotype that surrounds the Prides. Despite this, when on the pitch he is the opposing team’s worst nightmare. With an unparalleled ability to take in a scene unfolding on the pitch and react accordingly with split second decisions, Fujiwara is possibly the most instinctive player on the team and could easily go into the history books as such if it keeps up. Many fans describe Fujiwara’s playstyle as going “berserk” when compared to how he is off the pitch, and true or not, it adds to the excitement fans experience when seeing him play.
Lindiwe Ungaro - Ungaro is easily the most successful player on the team, her quidditch career having come very easily to them even from an early age. Her skill has always been at the top of its game and that hasn’t been questioned in all of her years playing. Fans will describe Ungaro as a very action packed player, always taking very risky shots with bludgers and, in some cases, having too many close calls when defending her Chasers from incoming attacks. It’s allegedly been the spark of many arguments within the team itself. Ungaro owns a very dominant and in-your-face personality, and most worry that approaching her about her dangerous style could lead to bigger explosions than mere arguments.
Keeper:
Amrishaya "The Chaos" Kol - Graduated with a perfect Quidditch record, starting on the team in her fifth year as a beater, she was known to shave her head before a match while keeping unflinching eye contact with the rival team. It is unknown what personality was going to come out of her. Near the end of school she found her niche as a Keeper. She loves a good joke, is not afraid of getting dirty and will stand up for what she believes is right, whether it is or not. She's never shied away from a challenge, always spoke her mind and never really worried what others thought of her.
Seeker:
Marfa Parma - Rumours say that if you see Parma sitting around doing nothing, you should probably start to worry. She is a highly organised player, and while sometimes that makes her a bit of a liability (when her temper fires up owing to things not going according to plan), it is usually balanced by her ability to pick up on strategies used by other teams simply by watching how they in turn organise themselves and execute tactics and moves. She is a hard-working member of the team and she is able to work well with just about anyone no matter their position. Her organisation has proven to be a double-sided blade for her, while it can be a trigger for her if things do not go right, she has managed to take that skill and apply it to her position of Seeker, making her one of a kind. Many fans say that it looks as if she is able to predict where the Snitch is going to end up, all the while predicting and even manipulating the movements of her opposing seeker.
Puddlemere United[]
Location: River Piddle in Dorset, England
Uniform: Navy blue with two crossed golden bulrushes
Founded in 1163, Puddlemere United is the oldest team in the League with a slew of records held to their name. Joscelind Wadcock, known for the most goals scored in the 20th century by an individual player, was a member of Puddlemere United and the team’s known to have won the League Cup 22 times. Despite all of this, Puddlemere has seen a recent drop in performance during the 27-28 season, falling from mid-table to much lower. Because of this, Puddlemere has been much more open in their recruitment methods, happy to sign new blood to the old blue and gold- especially if it might get the crowd cheering again.
- RP Hooks: Old Blood • Charitable • Hard Times
- Scouting Strategy: Looks Good in the Prophet • Team Player • New Blood
- Team Anthem: Beat Back Those Bludgers, Boys, and Chuck That Quaffle Here - Celestina Warbeck
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Sora McKellan - At only 18 she was recruited to play for a Professional Quidditch team. She is a very kind and caring person. She played on the Scotland team during the Quidditch World Cup at only 19 years old. She is well known as Sora "Little Bird" McKellan. She started her own charity to help provide Quidditch equipment for less fortunate children. She wanted to make sure everyone had a fighting chance when it came to playing Quidditch.
Jack Jones - A true technical player. While not particularly inspiring or filled with verse, Jack Jones can always be counted on to execute a play to perfection. Unfortunately, this leads to him and Grier Madden butting heads more often than not
Ariadne Massey - ‘The White Rose’. Ariadne earned this name by her habit of always seeming to have one on hand to throw the opposing keeper when she scores a goal. Similarly, she’s also known to present one to new members of the team.
Beaters:
Nickolas Avery - Avery comes from a long line of Puddlemere United players. If you ask him, there’s been an Avery on Puddlemere (or at least the reserve) for every generation of the family. This has left him a little conceited, but his pride is backed up by his performance on the pitch. He’s also noted to be a shameless flirt.
Grier Madden - Grier is a talented beater but somewhat at odds with Jack Jones. More of an improvisational player, this beater is known for going off script when the mood takes them.
Keeper:
Viljo Suvi - When Puddlemere's manager, Colby Redridge found herself looking for new key players to rejuvenate a stagnating squad, she turned her gaze to Viljo Suvi, a transfer from Finland's all female team the Poznan Rusalka. Suvi is said to be a friendly and warm romanticist, albeit a bit dramatic. On the pitch, she was known as one of the most successful players in Finland and fans find themselves excited to see what she brings to the table.
Seeker:
Callum McClarken - Although not as shy or reserved as his brother (Collin McClarken of the Kestrels), this Puddlemere seeker isn’t exactly the most social of the bunch. His kind demeanor off the pitch has earned him no enemies however, and generally he finds himself to be well liked.
Wigtown Wanderers[]
Location: Wigtown, Scotland
Uniform: Blood red with a silver meat cleaver emblazoned on the chest
Current Manager: Barnible Waggleton
The Wigtown Wanderers may be one of the most intimidating teams in the league, a fact that has held true since the 1400s. Founded by the seven children of local butcher Walter Parkin, a Parkin descendent has often been found on the team throughout the centuries. To this day, Wanderer fans still have a habit of showing up to every match with a wand in one hand and a meat cleaver in the other, something security has tried more than once to put an end to. The original chasers on the team invented the now classic move- the Parkin’s Pincer- where three Chasers fly from different directions at an opposing Chaser and the Wanderers still carry that innovation and aggression onto the pitch these days.
- RP Hooks: Intimidating • Bad Attitude • Don’t Get On Their Bad Side
- Scouting Strategy: Aggressive Players • Solemn and Scary • Tough Guys
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Garry Ivers - Garry Ivers fancies himself the real captain of the Wigtown Wanderers, a fact that gives longtime girlfriend and actual Wigtown Captain Arethousa Ainsworth no end of frustration. Assertive and controlling, he is believed to think he knows better than anyone else on the pitch.
Shay Clark - Clark is well known for her snobby attitude and sense of perfection. It would be worse if she couldn’t back it up, but her playing only seems to reinforce it.
Babs Paternoster - Full of energy and known for being perhaps a little too open with her emotions, this perky chaser is charismatic though rumours allege that all is not what it seems. She seems to have a trail of high profile exes who all agree she’s just ‘a little too much.’
Beaters:
Aiden 'Death Swing' Parkin - Stepping onto a professional Quidditch pitch with unparalleled skill and a long standing family reputation to defend, Aiden is the type of player who throws everything he has on the line to secure a win for his team. When it came time for him to choose a professional team there was simply no decision, it had to be the Wigtown Wanderers. With meat cleavers carved into his striking ebony broom and shards of ice in his soul, this up-and-coming player has made it his personal goal to achieve glory, one way or another, with the World Cup in his sights.
Cade Lindon - A man of few words, Cade Lindon is probably the scariest of the Wigtown Wanderers. Known for his ‘better than you’ stare, even the press are afraid to approach the quiet Wanderer. He’s said to be a sensitive soul on the inside, but his performance on the pitch casts doubt on this rumour.
Keeper:
Mick Mooney - On the small side for a Keeper, Mick Mooney makes up for his size with cleverness on the pitch. Don’t let appearances fool you, the former Ravenclaw rarely fails to cover the goalposts and it contributes to his cockiness off the pitch. Like Wanderers for generations before him, Mooney maintains an intimidating demeanour and he’s been said to threaten to break the fingers of any chaser to get too close.
Seeker:
Evie Proudfoot - While talented and a contributor to her new team... Evie Proudfoot in many ways is just ‘there’. Seeming to have no baggage or drama, this seeker is known to carry a ‘personal snitch’ that she uses to keep her skills sharp.
Standard Teams[]
Ballycastle Bats[]
Location: Ballycastle, Northern Ireland
Uniform: Black with Scarlet Bat logo
Current Manager: Mary Kilcannon
Topping the charts isn’t the only thing to matter to the Ballycastle Bats. This Irish team has more of a reputation for doing whatever it takes to stand in the limelight. If there’s a possible brand deal or sponsorship opportunity, the Ballycastle Bats will be the first to try and snatch it up. That’s not to say that the team doesn’t hold its own on the pitch. With an impressive 28 League wins, the most recent being the 26-27 season, it’s just as important that their players /look good/ in the ads as it is that they /play well/ on the pitch. They’re quick to use that sponsorship money to secure contracts with the bold and the beautiful, so long as they come with a pedigree. That said, the Bats aren’t so popular with the fans who view the Bats as the League Sellouts. Paired with their recent fall out of the top 4, the Ballycastle Bats aren’t the most loved in the League in recent times.
- RP Hooks: Top of Charts • Fame Hounds • Sellouts
- Scouting Strategy: Purebloods • Top Ratings • Looks Like A Model
- Team Mascot: Barny the Fruitbat- Featured in advertisements for Butterbeer with the slogan ‘Barny says: I’m just batty about Butterbeer!’
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Tobin Townsend - Known to have a domineering personality both on and off the pitch, much to the annoyance of scouts, Townsend is said to be quick to form attachments as evidenced by his frequent engagements in the papers. Rumours constantly fly around him, the gentlest of which strongly suggesting that he has been with more than a few of the Holyhead Harpies.
Avonlea Fox - Her flamboyant personality gets her noticed by advertisers and fans alike, making her the most frequently booked member of the team. She remains the only player of the Bats who has frequently dated her fans and continues to be open to the possibility of doing such. On the pitch, Fox is known to be highly analytical and is rumoured to be the brains behind the Bats.
Deirdre Piper - Despite her status as one of the toughest on the team, Piper is notably pretentious and will go out of her way to try to impress others. When this fails, she can easily be compared to a Veela having a terrible tantrum. She allegedly only joined the Bats for the sponsorship deals, and is constantly attempting to use her skill and natural abilities on the Pitch to try to get bigger and better contracts with the Bats.
Beaters:
Ada Ivers - Team Captain. A natural leader, Ada uses her assertive nature to push the Bats up the charts. It’s said that out of all the Bats, she’s the least interested in fame and the most interested in topping the charts. Due to her nature, she received many different invites and contracts to teams across the league, including the all female team the Holyhead Harpies, who believed she would make an excellent addition to their team. To everyone’s surprise she chose the Bats and has played for them faithfully ever since.
Blaise Bennett - Blaise grew up in a family of Quidditch enthusiasts, with both parents having played professionally. From a young age he showed an exceptional talent for flying and a natural affinity for speed. His determination and relentless practice sessions have made him one of the most formidable Beaters in the league. This up-and-coming Beater is known for his energetic and fearless nature. Thriving under pressure, he loves the thrill of the game and his competitive spirit and unwavering focus make him a formidable opponent on the pitch. Off the pitch, Blaise is friendly and approachable, always willing to share tips and tricks with younger players.
Keeper:
Marsha Lyon - Known to periodically leave her post or try unconventional angles to defend from. Despite her disgrace on the Puddlemere side, Marsha Lyon was brought in as an emergency fill in after predecessor, Haisley Rothenberg's death. However, years on from such a terrible loss, Lyon has come to find that a new team made all the difference for her. She is still very unconventional, of course, but at least these days it seems to be more of a skill than a hinderance.
Seeker:
Avery Whittle - Arrogant and boisterous, Whittle isn’t well liked with advertisers, fans, or his own teammates. In fact, fans have recently been calling for Whittle’s replacement as the seeker has consistently failed time and time again to catch the snitch. Many have said that if it is not Barnes dragging the team down, then it’s Whittle and his arrogance and they wonder what has kept him on the roster given his deplorable skills. Recently, rumours have begun to hint that it is a passing of gold keeping Whittle on the team.
Banchory Bangers[]
Location: Banchory, Scotland
Uniform: White with Pink stripes, with a Hebridean Black dragon
Current Manager: Oliver McCallister
The past is the past. The Banchory Bangers has a rich history, one that was almost demolished by a few poor decisions some seasons ago. But with a resolve unseen in any other team, Banchory returned like a phoenix born from ashes. The 27/28 season has shown that Banchory still has what it takes to challenge and scare the other teams, and still deserves their spot in the Premier League. With reformed hope, morals, and character, Banchory is far from the team it once was and now looks towards the future over the past. Not everything about the Banchory Bangers has changed though. The team is just as renowned for their post-match parties now as the original team was in the 1800s. A Banchory Rager is an unforgettable experience and it’s had regardless of where they place, so long as it isn’t dead last.
- RP Hooks: Re-established • The Past is the Past • We Like To Party
- Scouting Strategy: Get Someone, Anyone • Young Talent
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Ulysses Ellington - Decisive and bright, Ulysses Ellington plays the role of captain very well for the Banchory Bangers. Known to host wild parties in the name of tradition, Ellington is well liked by fans, teammates, and opponents alike.
Doirend Rayne - Doirend ‘No Pads’ Rayne, is famous for his love of ‘extreme sports’ as well as shrugging off numerous injuries. He’s said to be very tough and very eager to prove it.
Josias Saylor - Maintaining an aire of seductive mystery seems to be this chaser’s stock in trade. He’s known to be a heartthrob among the fanbase with many fans doing whatever it takes just to catch a glimpse of him.
Beaters:
Anah Trengove - A quiet player, Trengove is known for her intense stare and awareness on the pitch. She’s currently in her second year and only showing improvement, which helps her live down the gossip about her lack of ability to hold her firewhisky from last year.
Jotham Patton - Jotham Patton not only takes control of the Bangers’ beater spots, he also has declared himself the Chief of Banchory Ragers. Patton religiously lives for the moment, though you can find no player more truthful than he - a perfect blend of old and new styles of player.
Keeper:
Merrick Fabienne – A younger international transfer, Fabienne was well liked among fans in France due to his considerate and people-oriented personality. The French transfer is said to care about others above all else and is known to always have a shoulder for a friend to cry on. On the pitch the Keeper’s tactics and performance is known to be non-traditional but effective
Seeker:
Bryson McConnell - The life of the party, Bryson McConnell could make a banshee laugh. He always has a joke ready and has been known to playfully roast his teammates. According to rumours from a previous Banchory Rager, McConnell has never been kissed and mentioning this is the fastest way to make him blush.
Falmouth Falcons[]
Location: Falmouth, England
Uniform: Dark grey and white with a falcon
Current Manager: Barry “Bazza” Fletcher
Notably the most violent team in the league, the Falmouth Falcons play rough and play dirty. With a reputation for signing the most violent players all of whom have no qualms about breaking the rules and taking sparks. In fact, the team’s motto is “Let us win, but if we cannot win, let us break a few heads.” A testament to how willing they are to crack skulls if nothing else. Despite many red sparkings, a host of player suspensions, and a history of sitting at the bottom of the league, the Falmouth Falcons have steadily held position at the top of the charts for the last two seasons and shown no signs of stopping anytime soon.
- RP Hooks: You Talking To Me? • Let’s Crack Some Skulls • A Sparking Never Hurt Anyone
- Scouting Strategy: Rule Breakers • Bone Breakers • Aggressive Players
- Team Motto: Let us win, but if we cannot win, let us break a few heads.
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Lucius Paddon - Cheery, but, is it an act? His teammates are known to whisper about his controlling demeanor; often mocking him with the nickname ‘Not the Captain’ behind his back.
Declan Byrne - Byrne lived in a remote village in Ireland during his youth, where he grew up surrounded by tales of ancient magic and mystery. In his adult years, no one quite knows where he calls home. His natural talent for Quidditch was evident from a young age, and he quickly became known for his skillful play. However, there is an air of mystery about Declan, with rumors of a dark past and unknown powers that add to his enigmatic presence on the pitch. Declan is known for his intense and focused demeanor and is highly skilled and strategic, often outsmarting his opponents with ease. During those rare interviews, he can sometimes be heard saying “The game isn’t just about skill; it’s about the mind. What the rest of the players don’t know can be your greatest weapon.” Despite his talent, there is a dark streak about him that makes others quite uneasy. He is quiet and reserved, rarely sharing much about his past. Off the pitch, Declan is a solitary figure, preferring to keep to himself and maintain an aura of mystery. To those fans who crave his attention, they often find themselves waiting endlessly.
Carran Georgeson - Known as much for his outbursts as his post game analysis, Georgeson is regarded as a powder keg by most.
Beaters:
Rhys Morgan - The rugged valleys of Wales, where he developed his strength and tenacity, helped to shape Rhys into a dangerous force of nature. Growing up in a competitive environment alongside his twin sister Kayla, Rhys quickly made a name for himself as a fierce and aggressive player. His reputation for not backing down from a challenge and his willingness to brawl it out if necessary have made him a terrifying Beater to come up against. He thrives in high-stakes situations and is always ready to defend his team with everything he’s got. There’s little about this player that is not daunting or intimidating, making the demand for him quite high.
Lachlan Stewart - Lachlan grew up in the Scottish Highlands, where he came of age flying through the rugged terrain. His natural affinity for broomstick flying was evident from a young age, and he quickly became known for his seamless integration with his broom. Lachlan’s skill and grace in the air make it seem as though his broom is an extension of himself, allowing him to execute complex maneuvers with ease. His smooth and effortless flying style makes him a real treasure to watch. A calm and confident demeanor is what Lachlan is known for best off of the pitch, when he is not found partying his way across the United Kingdom.
Keeper:
Dale Morris - Loud, demanding, and egotistical, three words to describe Dale Morris. Fans unfortunate enough to find themselves near him at the bar will tell you, Morris is quick to brag about how he’s never made a mistake in a game. Even when suspected of sending a confundo towards opposing chasers.
Seeker:
Dot Townsend - Almost seeming out of place with her teammates, this seeker is known for her joking and cheery attitude as much as her ability to catch a snitch. While she’s just as aggressive on the pitch as any other Falcon, she does seem considerably more afable than the rest of her team off of it.
Kenmare Kestrels[]
Location: Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland
Uniform: Emerald-green with two yellow ‘K’s on the chest
Current Manager: Cheryl Hasting
It was Captain Darren O’Hare of the Kenmare Kestrels that the invention of the Hawkshead Attacking Formation was attributed to and the Kestrels have kept up that innovative spirit ever since. While enemy fans have complained that Kestrel fans’ habit of playing the harp at matches puts them to sleep, no one could ever say the team itself is boring. Kenmare Kestrels know how to put on a show and each season they find themselves looking for new players who know how to work as a team and try new tactics. The Kestrels maintain a determination to be a welcoming and fun team in the league and they accept members of all blood status and background. If you’re looking for a family, the Kestrels is the place to be.
- RP Hooks: Innovative • Just Here To Have Fun • Let’s Put On A Show
- Scouting Strategy: No Elitism • Creative Players • Team Player
- Team Mascot: Leprechauns
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Abigail Grace Bluetooth- From keeper to chaser in her school days, Abigail aims to keep the fun in the game. She is not one to shy away from any sort of plan, especially if it aims to confuse the other team. Off the field, she prefers to spend her time taking care of family or being stuck in a nice book.
Billy Griffin - Recruited alongside his twin sister Chloe, Billy is one half of the dynamic Griffin Duo. Considered a clever and quick thinker on the pitch, Billy is often said to be the perfect example of what a Kestrel should be.
Chloe Griffin - The other half of the Griffin Duo, Chloe was recruited alongside her twin brother, Billy. She’s considered one of the more compassionate players in the League and is part owner of a small Diricawl rehab ranch.
Beaters:
Blossom Fairbairn - Often noted for her inspirational pregame speeches, Fairbairn is considered the heart of the Kestrels. She’s known for her upbeat attitude, keeping the team in high spirits win or lose.
Kayleigh Pope - With the charming backstory of being a local Irish halfblood who grew up with little and dreamed of being a quidditch star, to now being a beater for the Kenmare Kestrels. Kayleigh is popular for her overly trusting, relentlessly optimistic and aggressively friendly attitude. Despite her sugar coated personality, Kayleigh was nicknamed "Sweet & Sour Pope" from her days in Gryffindor. She may be easy-going off the pitch but on the pitch she doesn't seem to know what it means to go easy. With no intention of holding back, the Northern Irish beater has created a tradition of brewing her own bruise paste which she offers as a gift to the opposing team before a game.
Keeper:
Reese Barret - Nicknamed “The Bartender” for his habit of lending a compassionate ear to anyone. Allegedly, he’s not terribly good at mixing drinks but that doesn’t stop him from whipping something up for anyone who looks like they need one.
Seeker:
Hall Mynatt - Recognised for always ‘keeping the game on the pitch’, Hall Mynatt has never had an enemy off the pitch. With a universally positive and upbeat attitude, even the most staunch Kestrel hater loves Hall Mynatt.
Tutshill Tornadoes[]
Location: Tutshill, England
Uniform: Sky blue with Dark Blue Double-T
Current Manager: Jamie Burnham
The Tutshill Tornadoes are the team everyone loves to hate. Once at the top of the League, the Tornadoes have come a long way from the times of Roderick Plumpton and his 3.5 second snitch catches. Over time, the team has fallen from grace and no longer are they filling the stadium seats with fans eager to see another five year winning streak. The Tornadoes refuse to let that get them down though, rather they’re determined to claw their way back to the top and refuse to let anything stop them!
- RP Hooks: Favourite Enemy • Fallen • Fast Wins • Record Holding
- Scouting Strategy: Purebloods • Record Breakers • Strong Scorers
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Robert Parsnicky - Reported to be the most energetic on the team, Parsnicky is hyper focused on victory leading to an occasional loss of his temper. He is notably adaptable on the pitch though fans have recently spoken of a decline in impressive gameplay from him.
Luna George - Gryffindor Alum, George is known to be courageous and enthusiastic on the pitch. It’s been said she’s aiming to be the next record breaking Tornado in history and has spoken of international dreams during interviews.
Elliot Nelson - With a well-mannered nature, Elliot is a favourite among Daily Prophet journalists due to being charmingly clever. One of the most laidback players on the team and Nelson is determined to see the Tornadoes return to their former glory.
Beaters:
Kip Heath - A reported thrill seeker, Heath is known for trying dangerous tricks when the bludger comes his way. He is exceptionally flashy, to the occasional annoyance of his teammates who are more concerned with making the play than putting on a show
Jasper Baxter - Another player doubling as an international player- this time for England’s team, Baxter is known to be quick to break bones in an effort to see his team win the match. Despite his hostile playstyle, off the pitch the man is prone to joking and flirting with female fans, sometimes to their annoyance.
Keeper:
Lexie Cullen - Although there are rumours of Cullen’s seductive wiles, she’s known to be an exceptionally kindhearted witch. Unfortunately, she’s also known to be something of a team hopper, frequently accepting transfer contracts in a hunt for the most lucrative offer. Fans often blame Lexie for the Tornadoes’ recent decline.
Seeker:
Lacey Bolton - Captain of the Tutshill Tornadoes, Bolton is known to be decisive and quick thinking. Allegedly, she has a bossy attitude when addressing teammates in the locker room but a noted temper when it comes to slander against her team.
Other[]
Chudley Cannons[]
Location: Chudley, England
Uniform: Bright orange two black Cs and a speeding cannonball.
Current Manager: Ben Foddle
Let’s all just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. There was a time when the Chudley Cannons were at the top of the League. That time was over in 1892 and now they are just trying to hold onto their place in the Premier League. The 27/28 season has held it’s fair share of surprises for the team though, securing a few wins for the first time in decades and causing more than a fair few collapses from surprised fans and supporters. Despite this, the Chudley Cannons are a loyal and cheery bunch who refuse to be brought down. They take a realistic approach to each season, but never will the Chudley Cannons succumb to despair!
- RP Hooks: Glory Days are Over • Worst of the Worst • Bottom of the Barrel • Realistic Thinking • Doing Better
- Scouting Strategy: Take What We Can Get • Young Talent
- Team Motto:
We shall conquerLet's all just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Consus Król - Król is a Cannon through and through. Despite the beleaguered club's history, he treats his teammates as his family and would do anything for them.
Casimir Utkin - A true friend to his teammates, Utkin is always the source for a supportive word or piece of advice.
Clarity Terrell - Clarity Terrell is a name that has been appearing on the Cannons’ roster for so long, there’s a plaque in the changing room designating her permanent place. As one of the oldest on the team, Terrell is greatly welcoming to new talent and old, and very much a coordinated, team player.
Beaters:
Noëlle Ó Ceallaigh - This beater started as a seeker in her rookie season and did quiet horribly. Following a tearful almost resignation she was convinced (By none other than Sayaka Sato) to try out for a Beater spot and has been shining this season.
Kathi Cassidy - Passed over by the other teams in the League and accepting a Beater spot for the Cannons, this rookie has quickly grown into a hard working and valued member of the team. Recently quoted in the Prophet as saying she was “Glad the other teams passed on me, got me a family instead. Love the Cannons, love our fans. We’ll keep working hard for you!”
Keeper:
Justyn Riley - The second longest serving member of the team, Rily is known to keep a good attitude and smile in the roughest of seasons.
Seeker:
Sayaka Satō - Arguably -the- best seeker in the world. When asked why she left her lucrative contract and spot on the Japanese National Quidditch team she replied; “Do you know the Legend of Dan Power[1]?” It’s not entirely sure what she meant by this and she doesn’t seem keen to explain it. She's known to hate bullies.
Montrose Magpies[]
Location: Montrose, Scotland
Uniform: Black and White with a magpie on front and back
Current Manager: David Gainsport
Known as the most successful team in League history, the Montrose Magpies have won the League Cup 32 times and the European Cup twice. No other team in the league can claim a record like the Magpies. That said, no other team in the league can claim as morbid a history either. The Magpies have a bad record for players dying, being cursed, or otherwise being forced into early retirement starting in 1942 with Eunice Murray and continuing on as recently as 2011 when Seeker Lark Rosewood was forced into retirement after taking a curse to the face. Due to past situations with players getting into freak accidents with muggle contraptions ((helicopters)) or costing the team the game due to attempts to integrate muggle sports tactics into Quidditch, the Magpies prefer Pureblood players over those with muggle ties but they’re not above taking a half-blood if they’ll benefit the team.
- RP Hooks: League Elite • Morbid History • Loyal Fans
- Scouting Strategy: Pureblood Pedigree • Proven Record • Winners Only
Starting Roster:
Chaser:
Silver Summerfield - Silver Summerfield is beloved by fans of the Montrose Magpies. With a face for magazines and a voice for the radio, Summerfield is considered a triple threat when you factor in her performance on the pitch. She doesn’t let all of that go to her head, rather Summerfield is said to be down to earth and friendly with all who cross her path. She is said, however, to have a distinct dislike for muggles.
Cass Audley - Frequently the peacemaker on the team. This Chaser is said to have a smile no one can resist and is usually the first to call for a time out when things get heated.
Lestat Vrykulesti - Transylvanian transfer picked up from the Agincourt Axes, Vrykulesti is unfortunately prone to a touch of screaming and yelling when things don’t go to plan. Due to this, he is called passionate by some and inflexible by others. He is known to be a hard worker with a fast glove.
Beaters:
Peter Riches - A bit of a dreamer, Peter Riches found himself pushed off to the reserve roster with Adam Fletcher moved in. Now that the former Agincourt Ax has returned to Falmouth, Riches feels it's his time to shine. Known to be protective both on and off the pitch, Riches boasts a rather defensive playstyle.
Kane Curtis - As Captain, Curtis demonstrates everything Montrose look for in a player: fast-moving, alert, and decisive. Curtis makes strides towards rising Montrose’s honour with his impartiality and leadership, though isn’t afraid to jump into battle when the call arises.
Keeper:
Myles Burnham - While appearing calm and reserved; this keeper is often suspected to be the source of many ‘harmless’ jokes that happen on the pitch, including a recent run of snakes that just happen to appear under the opposing team’s pads.
Seeker:
Arethousa Ainsworth - Former captain of the Wigtown Wanderers, Ainsworth was known for keeping her team working together and focused, not an easy task with the aggressive personalities. As far as seeking goes, she’s recently taken to feinting spying the snitch, only to leave opponents hurtling in the wrong direction. With her captain spot being handed over to Darragh Daly, Ainsworth is gunning to see the Wanderers put down by end of season.
Wimbourne Wasps[]
Location: Wimbourne, West Country
Uniform: Horizontal yellow and black stripes with a wasp on the chest
Current Manager: Catherine Hiddlesborough
Unlike the Ballycastle Bats, the Wimbourne Wasps are the stars on the pitch, quick to earn every available sponsorship without compromising their dignity. The Wasps are popular with fans of all genders and well loved by those who have watched them claw their way up from the bottom of the charts. The Wasps are known for not just their good looks or their charm, but also for their rivalry with the Appleby Arrows which spans across the centuries. The team isn’t all looks though, with eighteen League wins under their belt and participation in the European Cup as semi-finalists twice, you’d be a fool to underestimate the Wimbourne Wasps.
- RP Hooks: Well Loved • Rivalry with Arrows • Sponsors Galore
- Scouting Strategy: Star Quality • Talent to Mold • Magnetic Personality
Starting Roster:
Chasers:
Robyn McKowen - Somewhat of a wild card, this Chaser is known for her risky flying, often leading crowds to believe she’s about to fall off her broom. So far she’s managed to make it work for her thanks to her fast reflexes.
Layne Peacock - The Wimbourne Wasps are well liked and Layne Peacock is no exception. Always in a good mood, press are often eager to catch up with this fast-talking Gryffindor alum. Noted to be particularly chivalrous, he’s popular with female fans who flock to fill the stands and crowd him after matches.
Tryphena Beetlegleam – Coming from the Sofia Fates, one of Bulgaria’s mid-table international teams, Beetlegleam is a natural leader, a trait Wimbourne Manager Catherine Hiddlesborough says she is hoping will help guide their trio of Chasers. Beetlegleam known to be quite considerate though she can be a bit bossy and doesn’t tolerate conflict among her teammates. Sources say Beetlegleam has already taken to uniting the team, putting her in the running to replace Tollemache when the captain retires.
Beaters:
Emily Thompson - Emily is known for her intelligence and creativity. She approaches the game with a strategic mind and is always looking for new ways to improve her skills and aid her team. Her determination and positive attitude make her a favorite among her teammates. Thompson is a rising star in the Quidditch world, something highly unexpected after growing up in a small village in England. She discovered her love for Quidditch at a young age, and her natural talent and dedication to the sport quickly set her apart from her peers. Known for her innovative techniques and quick learning, she has rapidly become a player to watch, and one the Wasps couldn’t wait to snatch up.
Aoife Murphy - Coming from a small town in Ireland, where she grew up playing Quidditch with her siblings, it took getting to Hogwarts school for her to find her calling. After taking a break from the sport to focus on her studies in her seventh year, Aoife has recently returned to the pitch. Despite being a bit rusty, her passion for the game and natural talent are undeniable. No surprise, Aoife is known for her resilience and determination. She may be a bit out of practice, but her love for Quidditch drives her to improve every day. Her positive attitude and willingness to work hard make her a valuable team member.
Keeper:
Kjersti Nathalie – Transferring from the Karasjok Kites, Kjersti Nathalie is known to be a bit wild when it comes to joining in the nightlife. She’s an energetic girl with a dominant personality, and a fan favourite among males. Despite her reputation however, Nathalie is known to be focused when it comes to the game. She’s a versatile player who isn’t afraid to switch it up when she sees that a tactic isn’t working. Nathalie and Laufreyn have been seen partying together in the past, leaving Scandinavian papers to speculate the nature of their relationship previously.
Seeker:
Eric Hyland - Once a seeking wunderkind in his school days, who led his team to two first place finishes in his first three years of playing, Eric Hyland stunned when he walked away from the game following his second championship win. Over the years, his play achieved an almost legendary status, with many wondering why he'd quit or if he'd ever return to the sport. After a three year hiatus, he put that speculation to rest, returning to play and once more dazzling crowds with his daredevilish flying and keen eye for the snitch. Though his team did not see his same level of success, it was clear his time away hadn't dulled his skills. Skills which seem to run in the family, with his cousin, Persephone Vitrac, becoming a star player for the Harpies as early as her rookie season.
Reserves:[]
Appleby Arrows:[]
Daphne Quinn - Known to be quite spoiled and arrogant, Quinn often speaks of her successful lineage and how she’s destined to be remembered forever. Interviewers will often do whatever it takes to avoid speaking with the young witch.
Anathema Nitt - Coming soon.
Caerphilly Catapults:[]
Ruta Kovalyov - A true team player this chaser is a model of cooperation on the pitch. She’s known to be quicker to assist than to go for a goal for her own glory.
Falmouth Falcons:[]
Albert Lamb - New to the Falcons, Lamb is always looking for new ways to coordinate the team. Allegedly he has a secret book of experimental plays but this has never been confirmed.
Mack Clifford - Captain of the Falmouth Falcons, Mack Clifford isn’t known to be an overactive leader. Rather, the man seems to take control only when needed, or when Lucius needs to be reined in (Or beat back). Still, Clifford is said to never let the team down and to be a big fan of assigning tactics that favour his beaters strategically breaking bones. He is allegedly the reason for Jasper Baxter breaking both of former Holyhead Harpy Gemma Thornton’s legs.
Ivylin Mortiferum - Bio Coming Soon
Holyhead Harpies:[]
Lillibeth "Lil" Bennet - Lillibeth displayed a good disposition and certain skills for Quidditch ever since she was young. Half-blood and pure Scottish, Bennet began her journey into a more serious Quidditch as soon as she was sorted into Gryffindor and was accepted to be part of their team. Sporting the number 5 during her Hogwarts days, Bennet made it into Captain of the Gryffindor Team as well as prefect on her fifth year, keeping both positions until she finished her studies. Once out of Hogwarts, she decided to take a break and travel around the world, interested perhaps in an artistic career but coming back to the UK into a job in the Ministry. Needless to say, that wasn't the right path for her as she didn't even last a year. Tempted once more by Quidditch and its ways, she proved her worth and finally made it into the big leagues. Thanks to her ruthless yet very calculated tactics, this small but feisty Beater finally found a home in the Holyhead Harpies, with high hopes to show her value on the next Euro Cup.
Deirdre Dane - Often underestimated due to both size and personality, Deirdre Dane is known to be well-mannered off the pitch but absolutely ruthless on a broom. Despite her playful and mischievous nature, the girl takes no prisoners when there’s a bat in hand.
Ligeia Withka - As a veela, Ligeia Withka has no problem distracting opposing chasers /or/ Keepers when she’s in the air. This long time veteran has earned her place on the team and hopes that one day, her daughter will too. Rookies are often advised to stay out of her way for fear of the veela’s temper.
Wednesday Crowley- Rookie. Bio to Come
Kenmare Kestrels:[]
Colin McClarken- Brother to Puddlemere United Seeker, Callum McClarken, Colin McClarken is said to be exceptionally shy. Despite this, he is notably well-liked due to his sweet and honest nature.
Johnathon Irwin - Known to be something of a braggart, Irwin is generally well liked by the press and fans, this owing in part to the good natured sense of humour that accompanies his boasting.
Pride of Portree:[]
Alyona Longo - Longo may not be the fastest on the team nor the one with the most creative style, but she plays a key role for the Prides. Her scoring is her weakest point and many wonder why she was brought on as a Chaser with such a shaky skill, however Pride fans know that she, in her own right, is the Prides' secret weapon. When it comes to picking up rebounds and stealing the Quaffle, Longo easily surpasses her fellow Chasers, making her invaluable to the team. Off the pitch she is an understanding and very charismatic person, but there is a sense of humbleness to her. She can steal Quaffles from the best of them and yet this never turns into an ego.
Hayoon "Doll" Seol - Seol is the player that many of the masculine fans swarm in to see, despite the allegations that she will leave every heart broken. Off the pitch she is known for her feminine style and for being deeply immersed in her passion for artwork and writing, both of which have sculpted her idea of romance and how it should be. She has set some pretty high standards, making her uninterested in practically every male who comes to see her. Fans know her as the rebellious player on the team, the one who most desires to live her life the way she wants and to not be told ‘no’. She is a highly focused player on the pitch, her attention to detail having assisted in leading the team to many of the victories that has kept them in the top four for a while now. She is able to pick out strategic flaws in opposing teams, weak links, and guide her team to exploiting those weaknesses. In many ways the team sees her as the secondary captain. Her focused nature coupled with Weekes’ skill and ability to lead a team has been a crucial point to the many victories the team has enjoyed. Papers and fans alike hint at Seol-Fujiwara romance though if there is any reality to it is unknown.
Elliott Reid - Prior to starting his quidditch career, the name Elliott Reid was already gaining traction as the Hogwarts Champion in the newly re-installed Tri-Wizard Tournament. Portree, having already signed him following his sixth year at Hogwarts, was surely eager to have him wearing the purple and gold and Reid did not disappoint. Exiting his rookie season, Elliott Reid has already marked himself a valuable player as he notably earned the Quaffle Control Masters award. This success can be attributed not only to his dedication to the practice but his continued willingness to learn from the veterans of the team. This has led to Reid, Weekes, and Picasso flying like a well-oiled machine as they sweep their way across the pitch and onto the scoreboard. However, the one piece lacking in Elliott’s full immersion as a Pride is his apparent unwillingness to start a brawl. When push comes to shove, Elliott is usually seen pushing the brawlers apart rather than throwing a fist into the fray. Regardless, fans remain hopeful that the addition of the rising star can continue the team’s success for years to come.
Jockie McEachem - Muggle born from Achnabat Scotland, Jockie McEachem has always been a tom-boy. She was always interested in sports as a child, and that continued in her time at Hogwarts. Playing as goalie for her towns football team during breaks and summers, she threw herself into Quidditch as soon as she graduated. Now at age 25, this former Ravenclaw is out to make sure people know that Eagles are more than just a sharp wit.
Puddlemere United:[]
Phyllida Barber - Seen as a true lover of quidditch, Barber plays for more than just a paycheck, the fame, or a win. This chaser is noted for always seeming to have fun and enjoying what she’s doing, win or lose.
Wigtown Wanderers:[]
Risteárd Hall - Economical in more ways than one, this beater has a tight and efficient style of flying. He’s known to keep track of every sickle he earns, keeping meticulous records and not spending extravagantly.
Wimbourne Wasps:[]
Alec Tollemache - Polite in the press and on and off the pitch, Tollemache is known for his manners and sense of decorum. Alleged hostilities have recently arisen due to Tollemache’s critical opinion of Goodwin’s approach to the game.
Aurora Blackwood - The second eldest of six children, all her life Aurora has been trying to set herself apart from her siblings. Each summer she worked with the determination of a madwoman training to be the one thing she longed to be since her first Quidditch game: A Beater - for Hogwarts or as a Pro. While she never made it to the Slytherin team, it never stopped her from practicing. And even meeting with a few pro players over her summers and even a scout before her final year - most likely her father's doing, but she took every ounce of advice and kept it to heart, hoping to improve, and to make a team once she graduated. Fortunately for the Blackwood girl, Hiddlesborough saw talent. For now, Blackwood remains on the reserve team, stepping in when others can't make up, but fans are eagerly watching to see what she can do.
Sechnall Ó hÓgáin - Ó hÓgáin is considered to be talented but in some ways unremarkable. With a quiet demeanor, he’s the model of “showing up and doing what needs to get the job done” and little else.
Transfers to Foreign Teams:[]
Annie Downer - Downer is known to be inventive, coordinated, and communicative. Creator of the Downer Downing, Annie Downer left the Tutshill Tornados for Romania’s Bucharest Lămpi. Longtime Quidditch fans will know Downer is one of the most sought after players in the League, so it’s no surprise the international team would snatch her up, though it’s disappointing to see her leave the League.

- ↑ The Legend of Dan Power
“He joined a pick up game with some pros once. Got knocked off his broom. Ate a few bludgers to the face. They laughed at him. Mocked him. Drug him across the pitch. Joked that he hadn’t taken basic flying yet and didn’t know how to raise his broom up. Dan Power didn’t give up. Soon enough he joins another pick up game with the same Pros. He doesn't fall off his broom and they notice he’s getting stronger. This bloke, he lives on the pitch for the next 3 months. Sleeps there. He joins another pick up game again. Smacks the Quaffles into the rings every time it gets even remotely close to him. The other players and crowd can’t believe it. He keeps joining games and scores mad goals. Any time he does those same pros freak out. “It’s DAN! IT’S DAN POWER. THIS IS AN EASY WIN!” He turns his greatest enemies into his number one supporters. He becomes a 99 percentile player and then vanishes from the quidditch scene. Ask around if you don’t believe me. He never gave up and neither should you.”
