Esen Wington is a pure-blood Irish witch. Esen was a former player for The Kenmare Kestrels and Irish National Quidditch team. She rose to fame due to her brother's and his dangerous reputation. Due to this, she was eventually forced to retire although this claim has never been proven true. Many had theories but after time the questions of her wearabouts were long forgotten. Until she was recentlly discovered refereeing in Europe by an old friend from The Department of Magical Games and Sports. Having been convinced to return, and under the guidence of The Department of Magical Games and Sports, she was selected and named to be the permanent Hogwarts Quidditch referee. After many heavy discussions with O’Keefe and Blightly. It was made clear that a permanent Quidditch referee would be needed at Hogwarts after the golden snitch was found to be cursed.
