Backstory / Family[]
Dino Grégoire McDowell, a brave quiet boy. Well-behaved, very loving and compassionate but still discreet. He is very similar to his mother, Daisy Grace.
It starts with the family backstory. Dino's mother Daisy Grace grew up in a very rich and affluent household in Paris. A refined villa on a high mountain in the far north of Paris. Her parents were respected wizards in the Ministry of Magic and represent the French laws of magic/wizarding. Both were in leading positions, public figures. Regarding the very high reputation, they protected their daughter Daisy from the public and taught her subjects such as school and magic privately from home. They were in close contact with what is probably the most famous school - the Beaubatox Academy. But they thought it would be better to teach their daughter from home. There is no lack of quality. Daisy always got the best of the best. Even if Daisy really had everything that others could only dream of, she wasn't doing very well. The only contact she had were prominent wizards whom she met through meetings with her parents. But mostly they were older people and no one with whom she could really establish closer contact. She was taken to every meeting of her parents, but mostly she just sat around and was bored. Until that one meeting. The Meeting, where their parents negotiate with other magicians the Rappaport law of 1790 again. It was there that Daisy met Arthur McDowell.
The meeting spanned an entire weekend, during which Daisy and Arthur got closer.
Arthur was a fresh graduate from Hogwarts. A Ravenclaw. Very intelligent, a bit arrogant, but very warm. He had brown hair and almost black eyes. It was a beautiful weekend. Almost too beautiful. Adolescent recklessness and probably/maybe because she didn't know the world it happened very quickly: Daisy became pregnant at the age of 16 through Arthur McDowell. It was a shame for the time and for such respected wizards like Daisys parents! Both broke off the contact with Daisy. They kept it a secret from the public. Daisy couldn't come out to others either, as it could have been dangerous.Through her childhood she had no friends just through one of the meetings, the affair, Arthur McDowell. When Daisy was kicked out of the Grace household, she was picked up by Arthur. In this Time Arthur live in Oakdale, England. A village near Oxford. Into the Diagon Alley he was the owner of a herbalist shop. Some time had passed. Daisy gave birth to Dino.
The childhood of dino wasn't really great. Very early after the birth, Arthur met another lady during a sales talk, but Daisy was unfortunately not at all. In the course of Dino's childhood he saw a lot of anger and arguments. Quarrel between Arthur and Daisy. Arthur was having an affair that nobody knew about. He also had another girlfriend and had twins with her. Evangeline and Sam McDowell. But Dino didn't know anything about these half-siblings, who also grew up somewhere near Oxford.
Arthur was aggressive to Daisy - he sometimes hit Daisy and often kicked her out. Dino sat at home a lot, encapsulated in his room, cried and couldn't stand what was happening there. Daisy found it very difficult. She had pity and seen how much her son Dino suffered under these circumstances. However, she could not give up her life with Arthur because she was financially dependent on him. Dino actually liked his father at this point. Arthur also took a lot of time and dealt with Dino. He just couldn't understand and was outraged by his father when he yelled at Daisy and how he treated her. There was another argument on one of his father's birthday. His birthday is the day before Christmas. Daisy had baked her husband a cake. Angry at the argument, Arthur wanted to push the cake down the table. At that moment, Dino's first magical arts appeared. The cake did not fall on the floor. No. He was floating. You saw it in Dino's eyes. They were very focused on the cake. As the cake landed gently on the floor, Dino started screaming and crying. He absorbed the parents' quarrel in his head and realized it. From that day on, Daisy started pondering. She wanted to change something for her son. She knew that her parents no longer wanted to have contact with her because they were still ashamed of Daisy's early pregnancy. However, she used the Christmas season. The festival of family! The day after Arthurs birhday. Well, it was Arthurs last day at work before holiday. He had to work overtime. There was a lot to do during the Christmas season.
In order to at least give Dino a better life, she decided to visit her parents' residence in Paris. Christmas was the best day for it! Her parents were not enthusiastic about Daisy's visit, but they were very fascinated about their grandson Dino. They have entered into a conversation with Daisy. Daisy described her condition. Into this she asked her parents to take Dino for a while. She promised to get out of the situation and get back to paris as soon as possible. After a long discussion, the Grandmother and Grandfather decided to take Dino in.
It was very strange. Several years have passed. The grandparents tried to establish contact with Daisy but could no longer hear from her and couldn't find to her. They have tried several things, but they have always been unsuccessful.
Dino was 10 years old. At the age of 5 he was still too young to understand all of this. But now with the age of 10, when he was together with his friends in Paris, he quickly realized that he was the only one who lived with his grandparents. All of his friends lived with his real birth parents. He could only vaguely remember the bad things that happened when he was very young. Since all of this made him curious, he decided to ask his grandparents directly. He used the opportunity at dinner. The grandparents waited a long time for this question. They told Dino all about the life story and the reason why Daisy was thrown out by them and the reason she moved to England. She reported on her reputation and that of her husband. They both told him about his mother's promise that she would return and that they should only keep Dino for a while. As I said, they haven't been able to find or hear anything from Daisy so far. Dino didn't have many questions. He was just thoughtful.
Beauxbatons[]
Some time has passed again. It was before the start to go to school. The Grandparents enrolled him at the beauxbatons academy because they realized they made a mistake in raising their own daughter. Children and young people have to be among people. Getting friends and that only works in a school. Because of their high reputation, they have good contact/connections to the head oft he Beauxbatons Academy.
Dino is now a student at the Beauxbatons Academy. The entry into the Beauxbatons went surprisingly quickly, probably due to the good reputation of the grandparents. Dino has been a very quiet student at the Beauxbatons academy. But he was able to integrate very quickly. For the most part, he had female friends because he was more comfortable with them. Many were in love to him because he had such a beautiful, clean face, so bright eyes to fall in love with.
He got very good grades in school - it was because he inherited his father's skills, the Ravenclaw skills of his Father. With the really well respected grandparents, there were no options for poor performance in school. They even paid him extremely expensive tutoring for Defense Against the Dark Arts. Even if he didn't really like this subject, he did very well at the end of the school year.
Triwizard Tournament[]
A lot of time has passed. Last year was the Triwizard tournament. Dino would have very much wished to take part in this, because he was hoping to get to know his half-siblings, whom his grandparents had talked about. He also had the hope of seeing his father again and thus meeting his mother. Of course he still remembered where his parents lived and had often tried to send letters. Unfortunately, these were never answered and were undeliverable from a certain point in time.
Due to the high performance and contacts like his grandparents, Dino was one of the first to be selected for the triwizard tournament. Unfortunately, his grandfather suffered a stroke at this point, so Dino decided not to take part in the Triwizard Tournament and preferred to spend the time with his grandfather and support him.
Today (07/21/2028)[]
His grandfather is doing better now. He is now in a wheelchair. During this time, Dino also graduated from the Beauxbatons Academy with a very good degree. Because of his grandparents, he would have the best chance of occupying a very high position in the Ministry. But that doesn't matter to him at the moment. It is extremely important for him to learn more about his father, to get to know his half-siblings. He wants to see his mother again. Through his former classmates at Beauxbatons Academy, who were at Hogwarts last year, he has very good opportunities to make contacts at Hogwarts and possibly meet his half-siblings. Only through contact with his half-siblings will he find out more about his parents. Evangeline didn't know much about her father either. Maybe both of them can find each other and solve the mysteries.
He is currently unemployed. He could continue to live with his grandparents and would always get a lot of money. However, he would like to cope alone. He moves from place to place and now and then helps on farms to earn a little pocket money. His plans are that once he has found his parents, he will accept his grandparents' offer and apply for a position in the ministry. But there is still a lot to do before then.
The next trip he planned is a trip to Hogwarts. He want with his former classmates like to visit their friends in Hogwarts to get in touch. Due to his very persistent and determined manner, which was already shown in school, he does not give up. [to be continued..]

Appearance[]
Somehow typical of all McDowells. Dino has pale skin. Like his mother, he has bright blond hair and bright blue eyes. He is very thin and has freckles all over his body.
Personality[]
Dino is very calm and questions a lot of things. He is very social and a pastor for many people. He has an indescribable empathy. Primarily he is brought up very well. You can still have a lot of fun with him and experience one or the other nonsense. Because of his style, including his sense of humor, he gets along better with girls. He's always been more around girls.
